NBC's Revolution Films in Chadbourn

Revolution Train   NBC’s Revolution is filming in Chadbourn this week until Thursday.

Tuesday, the crew filmed off of Railroad Street near the train tracks, where a train with smoke coming from it was visible on the tracks. It marks the first time in nearly a year that the train tracks have seen any action.

Crew members said they picked Chadbourn because they don’t have to worry about being interrupted by other trains.

10 U.S. Cities for Revolution's Pilot Screening

A Revolution is coming next month to 10 U.S. cities, including Denver, Chicago and Philadelphia. NBC is set today to announce the top ten markets from its "Powered by the People" voting campaign on behalf of the network's new J.J. Abrams/Eric Kripke drama.

Then final screening locations are:

Denver
Chicago
Philadelphia
New York
Los Angeles
Seattle
Salt Lake City
Atlanta
Minneapolis
Boston

The New York screening will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 4, on a Hudson River pier. As part of the promotion there, power to the pier will be shut off (a reference to the show's central plot point, in which the world's electricity disappears) — and 100 bicyclists ("power pedalers") will manually generate power to support the screening's projection and audio. The other cities' screenings will take place on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Revolution Vs. Person of Interest

"Person of Interest" is an intriguing show about our current society, drenched in technology, involving surveillance that watches our every move. A machine then processes all of that information, predicting crimes to a precise degree.

"Revolution," on the other hand, is a new series that involves a future Earth without any technology. There is no running water, no cars, no planes, no anything involving machines of any kind. Although the ideas are on opposite sides of the spectrum, they have a few similarities that may attract the same types of viewers.

First Look at Elizabeth Mitchell as Rachel

TV Line got the exclusive new pics of Elizabeth Mitchel in the role of Rachel. In this two pictures you can se her in a flashback scene with a child Charlie.

Mitchell was asked to join the series after Rescue Me’s Andrea Roth had already shot the pilot — the change took place, Kripke recently said, because the character’s future made its creative team “realize that there were facets of that character that Elizabeth would be best-suited to play.”

Revolution will be filming at the Wallace Airport

Revolution will be filming at the Wallace airport on Tuesday night.

Members of the crew obtained a permit allowing them to use pyrotechnics, according to Pender County Deputy Fire Marshal Tommy Batson. Batson said the filming should start as soon as it gets dark and will continue into early in the morning on Wednesday.

Batson said because the airport is small and is used for mainly private planes, it will not cause problems.
